suggestions for dadi

we can have loads of games in this area.Groups that finish task faster or finish the most can earn credit for example:first prize,second prize or consolation prize.(according to the lifeline concept)

1.tai kong man pu
-there is a starting pt n ending pt
-grp members muz form grp of 3 within themselves
-sth like skipping rope,2 ppl will hold hands and swing to let the 3rd person go over their hands.(need to demonstrate live)
-prolly go to n fro for 20 times then consider a win

2.the pulling game
-use a plank n attach strong string to it.
-below put several long toilet rolls as wheels
-thr will be a starting pt n ending pt as well
-whole grp need to move forward toiletrolls as the plank moves forward
-few ppl need to puill string,rest help in moving toilet rolls
-person sitting on the plank with cup full of water(make sure water doesnt spill)
-grp with most water win.

3.looking at yourself growing up--in your parents shoes(maybe can use this as main theme n insert small games in)
-few small stages in this game

baby/toddler stage
-make milk(not too hot or cold)
-->dressup teammate(teammate need to hulahoop at the same time while team members dress him/her up)
-->teammate hula the most earn pts n finish wearing at the same time.
-mark kids homework(includes mcq,short ans n essay),mark the most correct earn pts

teenage stage
-one teammate with earphones on--loud music,need to guess words
-rest of teammates will have series of words for them to perform to the teammate
-but cannot use hands or legs to show
-most words guessed will be winner

-have a certain budget but need to plan out money use for one week which includes bills,food,pocket money n so on
-will have list of things they can buy or ways they can save money for the home
-grp that has the most money left/use the money wisely will win

4. pingpong game
-we played this b4,each team player has cardboard or sth hard
-need to keep ball away frm ground n need to pass ard to other team members
-highest number of counts win

5.domino effect
-use wooden blocks(jenga blocks) to form certain shape
-must make sure all the blacks falls nicely

6.spot the difference
-go inside a rm n spot any unusual arrangement or anything different than usual
-team tha spots the most will win

for more ideas..we can oso modify some of the jackie wu's comedy show games..for example remember the 10 colours..and oso 100 no NG..those within time frame games..

hey i was thinking of the blowing the ping pong across water filled with cups,

materials needed: cups lined up in one row filled with water and ping pong ball

method: each member is suppose to like blow the ping pong ball over the cups till finishing pt

the whole main pt is like how supportive our parents are to push us thru the different stages in our lifes or can also to perserverance! =)

i noe we're trying to focus on the video making first..but at the same time we also need to contribute to ideas for dadi..and as well as for warm up and ice breaking games too..so i hope all of us pls don forget to contribute first..as we really need alot of time to work and discuss on all these games..we only have one month plus before the real camp starts..

Hi.. these are the the games that the zhuo jiang shi suggest on Sunday

1)扮演老年人
- they are suppose to wear small shoes日本木屐 like 老奶奶..三寸金莲脚…make it as small as possible until they need to tip toe to walk..and beng their back to walk..so that they can 体验how elders suffer in their lives..

2) 检查功课
- they are given a piece of homework to check, eg spelling or a simple compo..and they are to check for mistakes jus like what their parents will do to experience the hardship of their parents.

3) 旅游计划
- they are to plan out an overseas trip with a given budget. Going to different place the price will varies. For example, going to japan to definitely more ex den going to Asian countries. During the trip, they also need to plan about the safety of the trip, whether to travel by bus, air or sea. This is to let them experience how difficult it if for their parents to plan a trip for them during their holidays.

4)菜单
- they are to plan out a menu for a day meal within a given budget. They also need to consider the nutritious value of the meal and should not plan in junk food like hamburgers. Meals should include the 5大营养:chicken, vege, fruits, carrots etc.

5) 国际村
- they are to take a group with their team members.拍全家福 We will have different types of international clothes for them to choose, and they are suppose to choose the outfit they want to take a group photo with their group members. After that they can choose the background that they like for their photo and it’ll be developed out for them as a souvenir for the camp. If those who are interested to learn how to crop and change the background, we can always learn from the teachers, as they also need our help in the editing of the photos.

6）人生价值观
- this is from one of the zi xuan suggested japan movie, on what will you do if you have 3 days left..something like that..we can ask them to plan out what will they want to do..or what wishes they have. We haven thot of any games for this activity..so maybe we can think about how to improvise in this idea.

This are all somehow linked to the theme choices, and also on the dadi theme..from young to old..yup..and we also need to take note of the time limit for each station so that they have a common time to change stations..and our deadline (pre testing of the game) is 3 Oct. So we really gotta be quick!!
